The Panasonic WV-NP472 Color CCD Network Camera is a digital network camera which also features a BNC connection for use as a regular video camera. The camera connects to the network hub via Ethernet and includes its own free IP address. Once connected, the camera can be accessed for viewing and control from any PC on the internet or intranet. The camera records in color under regular lighting conditions and will automatically or manually switch to a B&W mode when light levels fall below a certain standard. This and all other camera features can be accessed remotely from anywhere on the network or by switches on the camera"s back panel. The camera can be set to automatically store images and send email notification when triggered by the built-in motion detector or by optional external sensors. An array of built-in settings and functions enable the camera to self correct and maintain high video quality under a variety of lighting environments.
