When you're angling in heady waters, the Claw Sinker hangs on like a grappling hook even under very swift currents. Pre-made wire forms are not available. The wire forms or "Claws" can be made from wire found in a hardware store. 14 to 20 gauge is recommended. Cut the wire into 4 to 6 inch strips then fold them in half. Two of the folded pieces are molded into the sinker.
