Ladder Hook with Wheel

1. Install Ladder Hook onto the top two rungs of the ladder (2 Ladder Hooks preferred). Secure in place by clamping the bottom of the Ladder Hook around the lower of the two ladder rungs. Then secure Ladder Hook to the upper ladder rung with the rung clip (with wheel) by tightening the wing nut and bolt. Inspect that the Ladder Hook is securely fastened in the middle of the ladder rung, if using two Ladder Hooks place one on each side next to the side rail.

2. With the hook facing up, roll the ladder up so that the Ladder Hook(s) is just beyond the peak of the roof. Turn the ladder over so that the hook rests on the opposite side of the roof peak. The ladder should lay flat on the roof with the hook resting securely against the roof’s surface and bridging the roof vent.
